Heavy material producers frequently enter into contracts containing provisions that allow them to adjust their billing subject to price fluctuations in an underlying commodity, such as asphalt cement or fuel. SSI is offering a program that simplifies calculation of these billing adjustments. The program calculates the billing adjustment based on original delivery ticket information, mix information and commodity price indices.
Two reports are produced: a detailed audit trail for balancing to the original billing, and a summary report which can be used for billing the adjustments.
